Job Details
As a Research Manager working in the qualitative team, you will be working across a range qualitative research projects mainly within a variety of sectors including Media, Technology, FMCG, Retail and Hospitality. Based in a convenient London location, the company has modern, open plan offices, a professional and friendly working environment, good work life balance and a competitive salary to offer. In the role as Research Manager, you will have the opportunity to build up strong client relationships, working with Directors on proposals and presentations and work on some really exciting projects. The company has been investing in new qualitative methodologies, with a focus on digital and online methodologies. Projects will be focused on innovation, NPD, concept testing, branding, customer satisfaction and customer engagement in the main.
The Role
- As Research Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the research projects from inception through to completion, to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
- You will have the opportunity to build up strong relationships with existing and new clients, to encourage new and repeat business.
- You will have the opportunity to work with your seniors and design bespoke research programmes that fit with the clients' briefs.
- You will be writing discussion guides, carrying out in-depth interviews, moderating focus groups, carrying out ethnographic studies, then collating the information to create insight reports and presentations, to answer your clients' questions.
The Candidate
- Educated to degree level, with a strong background in qualitative research from a research agency, will be essential in being successful in this role.
- Your experience passion for working across different sectors, will allow you to quickly embrace the role.
- Your experience in moderating focus groups, will allow you to quickly be involved in the fieldwork.
- Your wide ranging experience in methodologies and sectors, will enable you to quickly step into this role and hit the ground running.
- Ability to multi-task and work with people of all level, to ensure a smooth working relationship with your clients.
