Job Details
They are looking to take on an Associate Director to join their Environmental and Energy team, to deputise to the Head of the Department. The team has experienced significant growth in the last five years and as such, are looking to strengthen the team at the senior level. This role will suit someone who has a passion in this area and is looking to work in partnership with their clients.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is a well-rounded researcher to work within a busy team on a range of ad hoc and longitudinal projects, with clear opportunity for progression.
You will have the chance to work on both quantitative and qualitative projects, from inception through to completion. You will be working on projects within the Energy and Environmental evaluation scope. This role can be domestic or international in focus, with a wide range of clients from government organisation to global organisations.
Key duties include:-
- Overseeing the projects from start to finish, to ensure accurate and timely delivery of the results
- Liaising with clients, to build strong relationships with them, to understand their research needs
- Designing research programmes, that fit with the client brief
- Responding to briefs and delivering successful proposals and pitches, to secure new business
- Signing off questionnaires and topic guides, to collect the information
- Supervising data checking and carrying out analysis, to pull out key insights from the findings
- Adding value to the reports, to present the results to the clients
The Candidate
- Your experience working in a Energy and/or Environmental Evaluation research, will have given you the skills and tools to hit the ground running in this role
- Your vast knowledge and experience in evaluation, will be essential in leading on these projects.
- Your experience in quantitative and qualitative research methods will allow you to embrace the role quickly
- Your background working in a consultancy or agency, will give you the knowledge you need to come in and really make a difference in this role.
- Excellent organisational skills, project management and strong communication skills will mean that you can quickly build up relationships with your clients and enable you to deliver high level research and insight programmes to them
