One such opportunity is in their Shanghai office. Unusually for such a role, Mandarin skills are not required as you will be working with clients throughout the region and further afield, where the business language used is English. Equally exciting, our client is not expecting you to move to the region forever for this role, they would be happy to consider anyone looking to relocate out there for two years (or more) and you could then be considered for roles within other regions (UK etc) if required. As a senior researcher within the team, you would be focused on both team delivery as well as bringing your own enthusiasm and energy to drive new business. With their focus on developing new and better research methods and sophisticated analysis techniques, you will enjoy plenty of opportunity to think outside the box and get creative when it comes to finding the best way to answer the client problem. Currently you will be a broad consumer researcher with strong quantitative skills and the ability to think creatively about client solutions to customise where needed. The work covers a range of ad hoc consumer projects, typically involving mainly quantitative (with some qualitative) in China, Asia and globally. Strong commercial acumen is essential and you will enjoy contributing actively to company initiatives outside of project related tasks.
