Fearless, fast learning SRE
Most agencies restrict certain tasks to certain levels of seniority. Need a proposal? That'll be written by an AD or Director. Not here! Their philosophy is one of early responsibility and flat structure. After a brainstorm, the Research Exec will write the first draft of the proposal, which will be reviewed by an SRE and finally the AD. Similarly, the team that arrives to pitch to a new client will always include an SRE.
The result is that their junior researchers can progress really quickly (and with their phenomenal growth over the last few years there is plenty of scope for promotion) and it makes things more interesting for everyone.
Their work is very largely ad hoc, some done via panels or communities (built by clever in-house techies), some created from scratch.
Clients are hugely varied – from magazines, beauty, restaurants and bars to exhibition centres and food brands. Projects include understanding trends, concept testing and optimisation, price, packaging and product trialling.
You will be working on all aspects of these varied, ad hoc research projects, from proposals to presentations and having client contact from day one There will be chances to try online qual too if you are interested.
As well as a competitive salary they offer a bonus, decent holiday allowance and plenty of social activities too.
Ideally, you will have at least a couple of years in ad hoc agency side research. However, personality and attitude are hugely important so if you have different experience in social or market research, it is well worth getting in touch. As well as being keen, bright, lively and able to learn fast, you will need to be utterly fearless and want to get stuck in straight away.
