Your role as a Sales Director within the credit risk and intelligence market will involve overall responsibility for the commercial function, reporting directly to the Managing Director. As a member of the management board, you will be expected to actively drive the strategic direction of the business as well as ensuring that operational excellence is achieved.
As a Sales Director you will be responsible for overseeing the teleappointing, new business, account management and client services teams. You will set a clear vision and be an inspiring, results-focused leader for the sales management team, providing the right framework to accelerate growth from existing clients via up sell and cross sell opportunities as well as driving new business to exceed current growth targets.
To be a successful applicant for the Sales Director role you will need to have the following skill set and experience:
*Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and lead from the front
*Credible and compelling individual with the ability to engage at board level
*Proven track record as a Sales Director with a minimum of 5 years of relevant management experience in a subscription based business information environment
- Proven experience within the Credit risk and intelligence market
*Impressive history of accelerating sales functions to overachieve
*Experience in financial services or the credit scoring market advantageous but not essential
*Experienced in leading both direct and telesales operations with contract values ranging from the lower thousands to multiple six figure deals
