Our global market research agency client needs no introduction - they are one of the leading providers of market research and intelligence worldwide. They are looking to make a senior appointment to their Automotive division, whose clients include every major European, North American and Far Eastern car manufacturer. With an enviable reputation for providing high impact and insightful information to clients, the department is seeking a talented Research Director to be involved in the creation of custom research solutions for automotive manufacturers.
Working as part of a highly flexible team, the Research Director will take the client lead on a variety of qualitative and/or quantitative projects and will be responsible for managing these accounts and project teams. A key component of the role will be writing and delivering creative research proposals, reports and presentations, as well as general research-based consultancy. The remit will also involve proactively identifying and initiating new business opportunities and developing existing clients.
To be considered for this exciting role, you must have Automotive sector specific knowledge together with top notch end-to-end quantitative and qualitative market research skills. A successful track record in business development is essential, as are excellent client service and presentation skills. You will need a proven background in conducting Car Clinics and also demonstrable experience in Social Media Research.
