Testing resident satisfaction is an essential part of Hackney Homes core business activity. The Research Analyst plays a pivotal role in this process by taking responsibility for all research projects across Hackney Homes. The role of this post is to work as part of a team to lead on a wide variety of housing research projects using a range both qualitative and quantitative research methods managed either in-house or using other approved external resources.
In addition, the Research Analyst will have a specific remit for working with service heads to develop service improvements identified by our residents through research, in focus groups and workshops. Therefore, experience and knowledge of appropriate research methods and processes are essential as is experience or a background in housing and or social policy research and measuring customer feedback. .
The successful candidate will need to be proficient in the use of a range of data analysis systems, presentational IT packages such as SNAP or, SPSS. In addition, the use of all MS Office applications; in particular knowledge and experience of using of Ms Excel is essential. Additionally, the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate an ability to work to tight deadlines and manage workloads effectively.
Please note as part of the selection process you will be tested on your ability to apply appropriate research methods including the use of relevant IT systems.
