The company has a wide portfolio of exciting FMCG clients and they work with some of the biggest consumer brands in the world. This role is within the 'Key Accounts' team, working for one large global parent brand, on many of their products. You will become a true business partner to this client, spending a minimum of 1 day per week on site at their offices to get to get to know their brands inside out and fully understand their objectives and challenges. This person's insights and recommendations will lead to real visible change to the clients' brands promotional, pricing and positioning strategies and they will help them to develop and build their portfolio of brands.
The role will involve a high level of responsibility and client interaction from day 1, answering queries and briefs with insightful analysis and presentations. Briefs can be very varied and offer the opportunity to build up ad hoc analysis experience across a range of subjects. It could be anything from 'why are my sales decreasing' to evaluating the impact of a multimedia advertising campaign, to working out how consumption and usage occasion of the brand is changing. Every day is different and it is certainly a challenging environment, but you will also get a lot of support and continual development. In order to be successful you will be an excellent story teller - someone who is skilled at data analysis and finding the stories in order to uncover the really interesting and important nuggets of information which can make a real difference to clients' brands. You will also have great client management skills and be a natural questioner with a curious personality. You will have the confidence and passion to put your views across and to present to clients in an engaging manner
