As a Business Development Manager, you will be a highly capable and driven individual who has a strong knowledge and understanding of research and research processes - particularly quantitative and online panel based research. You will have strong client facing experience, having been involved with pitching for and closing new business opportunities & managing accounts. You may also currently be involved in analysing data, mining insights and delivering de-briefs
Whilst bringing your research skills to bear, you will have a desire to be rewarded for your ability to win new business opportunities and manage client relationships. You may have a preference to be less involved in the design and delivery of the research itself.
As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for exceeding sales goals by acquiring new customers and developing existing relationships using strategic account management and solution selling skills. You will be responsible for the sales process execution from initial customer contact through the solution definition to sale and implementation. You will actively manage the client to ensure customer satisfaction with services provided. You must be able to manage priorities and deal with a high volume of transactions on a daily basis.
